Data protection

How we handle your data

This site does not track its visitors. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts: when you read these pages, nothing is sent to any server other than ours.

The only data we collect is what you voluntarily write in the form to endorse the Declaration.

What we collect and why

Full name, email address, occupation, country and, if you choose to give them, institution and a message. There is a single purpose: to register your endorsement of the Founding Declaration and to keep you informed about the work of the Observatory.

What is published

The public register of endorsements will show your name, occupation and country. Your email address, your institution and your message are never published. Nothing is published before you confirm your endorsement by email.

Legal basis

Your explicit consent, given by ticking the box in the form. You may withdraw it at any time.

Who it is shared with

No one. Your data is not transferred, not sold and not used for advertising. It is stored in the infrastructure hosting this site, on servers in the European Union and the United States, under the corresponding contractual safeguards.

For how long

For as long as the register of endorsements is maintained, or until you ask us to withdraw yours.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing or its portability, and you may withdraw your consent. Just write to us: [contact address pending publication]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Controller

Cognitive Rights Observatory. The association is in the process of being constituted; as soon as it is registered, its registered name, address and registration number will be published here.
